Place to Visit in Finland
If you ever stumble upon Turku in Finland and would like to get a better glimpse of the city, there are two excellent locations to go there to get to higher ground, the other one is the National Museum, the topic of this intel is the Statue at Samppalinnan vuori, "patsas". If you head from the city centre across the river towards Kaarina you will pass a hill called Samppalinnan vuori and on top of that you will find a beautiful park. In that park there is a stoned plateau with statue, erected as a tribute to G.A. Petrelius who in many ways sponsored the city of Turku, the park being one place to get funding from him. At that plateau next to the statue, "patsas", you will absolutely get the best view of the city possible. I personally have spent many hours there just gazing over the city. If you like sceneries this is the place to go in Turku.

Contributor's Note
If you like to know more, I've written a longer and more detailed article about the statue, park and how to get there on AC.
