Fifth Principle abstract

This little green book was an eye opener to me. I had already read the Future Choice by Michael S Clouse, but there was a bit of a catch in this book, the fabled Fifth Principle.

Language Clouse uses in all of his books is inspiring at least to a hungry person like me. He talks about empires and building and most importantly he talks about this networking business like the business it should be.

So here is a quick recap of the five principles.

The First Principle "Get Connected - Stay Connected". Clouse talks about is getting connected. Meaning you need to study your system in order to duplicate, know the team you're working with and have your emails, opt-in to company newsletters, ezines, websites etc. as well as owning your own business cards. Then he gives some thought to explain the importance of events and event participation, which goes back to duplication and leadership. Communication is vital to duplication and makes sure that people you get in stay in, so make sure when you start your new partner that he gets plugged in straight away to all the resources and wealth of knowlegde your company offers.

The Second Principle is named "Learn Your Core Product Line". Stories sell and facts tell, you've probably heard that already many times before. It's no different in Network Marketing. You have to become the product of your product. The only way to build effectively is to use the products youself so you can generate your own stories, memories and use them to conversationally sell. All people prefer to hear a good story about your trip to Egypt, rather than hear it was hot. Knowing your product line and having the stories to tell people about them is important, because building your business is about moving as much product as possible.

The Third Principle "Learn how you are paid". To be a professinoal Network Marketer you need to know how you are paid. The only way you'll be able to plan your financial future is knowing what action you need to take to reach a specific income. Understand that your money comes from the consumers. You can increase exponentially your own customer base and income by leveraging your time by introducing other people to your business. And remember your on-going residual income comes not from how many people you sponsor, but from how many you keep.
Before ending the chapter he returns to Second Principle and points out that facts tell, stories sell. So how do you sponsor people in? Telling stories. They need to know they can earn enough to pay off their debts, travel more, renovate, buy a better car, pay their childrens college fees, live they life they really want to live.

The Fourth Principle: "Learn How You Build The Business". Learn all the ways you can build within your system and then get to work. System is in place to make sure that people on your fifth level are doing the same things as your people on the 500th level are doing. System should show how to get started, how to prospect, present and then duplicate, so make sure you and everybody else you bring aboard knows the system.
If you wanna build your business once and then get paid forever, follow the system.

The Fifth Principle is simple "Take Action + Get Better". It's that simple. If you're already taking action, think we're you could get better, and then work at that while building your business. This Business is all about Prospecting, Presenting and then Duplicating. If you're gonna be able to build it big, you need to know how to build it big, wouldn't you agree. You'll want to invest your money to seminars, cds, courses etc to get better.

That was it in a nutshell. Absolutely amazing book.
